Miss World 2017 which is the race for the famous Miss World pagent , was held in China this year . 118 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown . Among those contestants Manushi Chillar representing India won the title .
She was declared the winner of title ” Miss World” in a grand program held on famous Sanya city of China . Beside that , the first and second runner-up were Miss England Stephanie Hill and Miss Mexico Andrea Meza . Its the sixth time India has won this award including Aaishwarya Rai in 1994 , Diana Haydon in 1997 , Yukta Mookhey in 1999 and Priyanka Chopra in 2000 .
This time Nikita Chandak represented Nepal in the Miss World . She was successful in making it to top 40 .
