Kathmandu, Nov. 21- Nepali Congress candidate in the first-past-the-post election system in Kathmandu Constituency No. 8, Navindra Raj Joshi, garnered 13,774 votes to win the Constituent Assembly election.
His nearest contestant is CPN (UML) candidate, Jeevanram Shrestha, who received 6,367 votes. Similarly, Prakash Rimal of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP-N) received 4,958 votes and Unified CPN (Maoist) candidate, Mukti Pradhan, received 2,760 votes.Joshi had been elected as the CA member in the first CA in the election held in 2064 BS.
