Kathmandu, July 25: The Janakalyan Samajik Centre Nepal today feted six journalists including National News Agency (RSS) Chief Reporter Surya Chandra Basnet.
The Centre, which has been in social work for the past four years, honoured the journalists in recognition for their contribution in disseminating the youths’ voice among the Nepali people.
Along with RSS Chief Reporter Basnet, the Centre feted Nepal Television’s Govinda Dhital, Image Group of Companies’ Rajan Kuinkel, News 24 Television’s Sushil Aryal, ABC Television’s Rajan Poudel and TV Today’s Janak Pant.
On the occasion, Nepali Congress-Kathmandu President, Sabuj Baniya, urged the Centre to carryout similar works in the future. Centre’s Advisor, Bharat Dahal, said the organization was ready to resolve any kind of problem in the society.
Centre’s Chairman, Bikash Kumar Das, said the Centre was working to unite the youths in society’s development. A total of 70 persons also donated their blood during the programme. RSS
