December 16 : Forty people have been injured ( including six criticlly injured) in a truck-bus collision in Prithvi highway . The truck (Na 1 Kha 1674), heading from Kathmandu to Muglin collided with the bus (Na 4 Kha 4420) at Benighat rural municipality-10 of Prithvi highway.
The accident occurred when the truck in high speed was overtaking another vehicle, police reported . According to Krishna Raj Sapkota, inspector at Traffic Police Office, Gajuri the bus had departed for Kathmandu from Tikapur.
Those injured are undergoing treatment at local health facilities.
