The bomb has been exploded in Dhankuta, targeting the Minister of Industry and representative candidate Sunil Bahadur Thapa, today. According to sources , the explosion occured at 7am in morning at Sahid Bhumi Village of Dhankuta . The people behind this incident are still unknown .

Police Chief Raj Bhandari informed that they were not being able to get detailed distribution as police were operating in the area. Meanwhile, District Officer Prem Prakash Upreti said that further investigation is being done about the incident. Initially , it is believed that the bomb was aimed at the vehicle he was on but since the vehicle was way ahead it suffered no damage .
