KATHMANDU, Nov 17 /The government is to focus the security strategy on the voters’ security in the CA election. Preparations are being made with assumption of arrest of voters to influence their votes.
Home Ministry Joint Secretary and Chief of Security Arrangement Division Shankar Koirala said the security personnel were made more alert if any one makes attempt to stop them from coming to vote.
He was speaking at an interaction organized by the Asia Pacific Centre for Security Studies Alumni Association Nepal on Friday.
Bagmati Zonal Police Chief and SSP Ramesh Kharel informed that all security teams have already reached all the polling booths.
