Dec 28: Popular folk singer Buddhi Krishna Lamichhane has passed on Friday afternoon.
Lamichhane, who had been bedridden since a long time due to paralysis and pneumonia, breathed his last at his own residence in Changunarayan municipality-7, Bhaktapur, his daughter Samjhana told Republica Online.
Lamichhane’s songs ‘Ghans Katne Khurkera, Ayo Jovan Hurkera’, Pindima Basera, Merai Bato Herera Meri Ama Rundihun Malai Samjhera,’ are his popular songs.
Lamichhane is survived by his wife, two sons and three daughters.
