Students burning effigy of PM Deuba to protest against petrolium price hike

January 2: After Nepal Oil Corporation increased the price of petroleum products for the second time in 11 days , Students unions associated to Left Alliance have burnt an effigy of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to protest against the price hike of petroleum products.

They have burnt an effigy of Prime Minister of Sher Bahadur Deuba in the capital to exert pressure on the government decision.

Meanwhile, the police have fired two rounds of teargas shells to disperse the protestors.
