CHURE BHAWAR CALLS FOR REELECTION IN SARLAHI-2

Kathmandu, Dec. 2: The Chure Bhawar Rastriya Ekata Party Nepal has called for re-election in the Sarlahi constituency no. 2, claiming massive rigging in the November 19 Constituent Assembly ( CA) election.
Issuing a press statement today, party Chairman Badri Prasad Neupane has claimed that a burnt ballot box used in the election was found in a jungle along the Barhathawa-New Road section, vote counting began only 24 hours of the completion of voting, ballot boxes were unsealed with the participation of only Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and Sadbhawana Party representation which all confirmed  massive irregularities in the electoral process.
Two ballot boxes used at Hariwan VDC, one at Pidari VDC, one at Haripur VDC and two at Hempur VDC  had ballot papers more than the votes cast, the statement mentioned, demanding the re-poll in the constituency. Besides, vote counting updates were not given and finally the victory of NC candidate was announced, party Chairman Neupane has claimed in the statement.
