UML Candidate demands re-election at Dhanusha-5

KATHMANDU, DEC 01 –  CPN-UML has accused Nepali Congress (NC) of  irregularities at Dhanusa constituency-5 where UML candidate Raghubir Mahaseth had lost to NC candidate Chandra Mohan Yadav. Yadav is President Ram Baran Yadav’s son.
Organising a press conference here in the Capital on Sunday, leader Mahaseth, UML Central Committee member, demanded re-election at the constituency by scrapping the election results at Dhanusa-5.
The UML leader accused that assistant Chief District Officer had ordered two empty ballot boxes at the constituency and that five boxes were replaced.
He went on to accuse that police were made to cast votes for the ones who were staying out of Nepal.
