Kathmandu, Nov. 25- The Nepali Congress is in the first position towards the proportional election, as per the result of the vote counting so far. The NC has received 903,973 votes, as per the result of vote counting of 144 constituencies.
Similarly, the CPN (UML) has obtained 900,736 votes and the UCPN (Maoist) has got 559,832 votes. Releasing the result of vote counting up to till 3:30 pm, the Election Commission said that the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal has received 255,884 votes while the RPP has obtained 98,403 votes.
A total of 3,424,198 votes towards the proportional election have been counted so far, said EC.
