Jhapa, Nov. 24- A large number of votes have been invalid in Jhapa district in the FPTP election in the second constituency elections.The District Election Office Jhapa said some 25,016 votes were invalid in all the seven constituencies in the district.Some 355,788 votes were cast and of them, 330, 772 had become valid. The percent of invalid votes was 7.3 percent, said Chief of District Election Office Gopal Acharya.
It was 5. 81 percent in the first CA in 2008.Largest number of votes invalid was 4,398 in Constituency No. 5. and 3,910 in Constituency No. 4.
