NEPALGUNJ, Nov 18/The national and international teams authorized to observe the Constituent Assembly (CA) election have started their duties in Banke district from Sunday.
According to District Coordinator of National Election Observation Committee (NEOC), Lok Bahadur Shah, the Committee has deployed teams for the CA election observation in all the polling centers in the district.
The National Human Rights Commission, Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) and Terai Election Observers’ Forum are active in the CA election observation activities. Earlier, the European Union and Carter Centre had taken information about the election activities in the district.
Petra Sirok of the EU and Natasa Rochaild of the Carter Centre held discussions with the Chief Election Officer, Hari Pratap KC and others about the election activities.
