Disable-friendly polling centers

DHANGADI, Nov 17/The Kailali District Election Office has set up disable-friendly polling centers in different four places in the district with the objective of providing accessible services to the differently-abled.

The Office has set up the disable-friendly polling centers at Shreepur based Shaileshwari Secondary School, Dhangadhi based Rastriya Primary School, Darakh VDC based Rastriya Higher Secondary School and at Lamki of Baliya Prem Raj Bhatta, an Election Officer.

 Kailali has around 2,000 disabled voters in six constituencies of the district. Similarly, the office has established 10 temporary polling centers in the district. As many as 9,500 temporary voters including Nepal Army, Nepal Police, personnel, civil servant, and prisoners, among others will be voting from the temporary polling centers.
